First monograph on noted American Surrealist, Dadaist and post Abstract Expressionist painter Wallace Putnam (1899-1989) whose assemblage provocatively entitled ‘Agog’ was prominently displayed in the entrance to ‘Fantastic Art Dadaist and Surrealism’ exhibition at The Museum of Modern Art in 1936.
