To benefit the The Eric Carle Museum of Picture Book Art, Henry Holt and Company and 14 “heroes of picture book art”  have joined forces for the new book, What’s Your Favorite Animal?

“The idea of getting some of the world’s most talented and beloved picture book creators to contribute to a book that benefits a museum celebrating the art of the picture book was just too perfect. We could not be more excited to be part of bringing this book to life,” says Jonathan Yaged, president of the Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, which includes Henry Holt.

These are the people who, if you’re a parent, are responsible for bringing a smile to our kids faces, and most of our faces, on a nightly basis. I also know that many of the books created by these artists have gotten me through some pretty eventful evenings with the kids.
