Once in a while, something comes along that changes the way we live, a device so simple and intuitive, using it feels almost familiar. Introducing the 2015 Ikea catalog. It’s not a digital book or an e-book. It’s a book book
We have come to that time of year when the annual IKEA Catalog is set to arrive and take up most of our mailbox.
This year something is different. Using the Apple iPad ads as a launching pad IKEA has gone all out with a “bookbook” campaign which reminds us of the everlasting value of print.

Loaded with gems espousing the benefits of print like:
“the battery life is eternal”
“no lag, each crystal clear page loads instantaneously”
“content comes pre-installed with 328 hi-definition pages”
The video is as much a tribute to the printed book as it is a clever marketing campaign.
For now, unfortunaltey, the ad campaign will only appear in Singapore and Malaysia.
