Talk about starting them off young.

The course was called Book-Making Intensive: Design, Bind and Deconstruct and it was offered as a University of Washington Summer Youth Program.

Taught by Alisha Dall’Osto, the two-week course introduced the young learners to several types of book design and binding.

“I think we did really advanced-level work…They really rose to the occasion.” said Dall’Osto.

The course culminated with a display at  “The UW Book Arts Gallery”
