Photoshoot in the Library: Benjamin Von Wong goes to work inside the world’s oldest monastic library

Think Beauty and the Beast and a library beyond your wildest imagination. Then think about how lucky photographer Benjamin Van Wong was to be able to carry out the first creative photoshoot held inside the library at Admont Abbey in Austria. The Salon where Coco Channel held court.She is the epitome of style and the namesake of one of the leading luxury brands in the world. Gorey Wear: Auction Features the Fur Coats of Edward Gorey

 Among the sixty lots up for auction this week in the Edward Gorey sale at Bloomsbury is what appears to be a full run of the fur coats owned and worn by Gorey. A whopping 14 coats are up for auction including one designed by Gorey for Ben Kahn Furs.Gorey didn't just stick to one animal. There's the Sheared Beaver Stroller coat, one made from Lynx, one Racoon, a bunch of Otters and a couple of Coyotes. There seems to be an increasing amount of crossover between the book and fashion worlds these days.Designer Marc Jacobs recently announced he was opening a bookshop in New York City's West Village. The shop, to be called Book Marc, will undoubtedly carry his new line of stationary products, fittingly called the Bookmarc collection.Canadian author Douglas Coupland has announced that he is collaborating on a new line of clothes and accessories.
